You can walk there in approx 30 mins, or take a bus which will bring you there in less than 10 minutes

Which bus can I take to the city centre?
You can take the 39A, 46A, 46B and 145. All of these buses pass by frequently, and the bus stop is just a few minutes walk from Donnybrook Manor. Visit www.dublinbus.ie for timetables.
Tickets cost about €1.80 per trip, and you can also purchase a pass that is valid for several days.

How can I reach Donnybrook from the Airport ?
You can take a taxi or the Aircoach.
A taxi will cost you approx €25. It will cost more if there are a few of you, with luggage, and it also depends on the time of day that you arrive. For a group of 5 in a large taxi it will cost around €45. The trip takes about 30 mins - depending on the time of day.
The Aircoach is a bus service that runs every 15 mins to/from the airport. The cost is €8 one way. It takes about 45 mins to get from the airport to Donnybrook using this service. The bus stop is very close to Donnybrook Manor (5 mins walk). We can give you all of the information you need about this if you book the house. You can also check www.aircoach.ie

Yes, but there would be an extra charge for this based on the time of arrival and the number of people.

Is it possible to rent one of your houses during the summer months for 2 nights?
No. At certain times of the year, during the off peak season, we offer 2 night rentals, but at other times of the year there is a minimum charge of 3 nights, (4 nights at Christmas/New Year.)
We will accept a 2 night rental, subject to availability, if the reservation is made within 5 days of the date of arrival.

We are group or a family group, and we'd like to rent a few of your houses. Can you arrange that the houses will be next to each other ?
We have 20 houses here in DonnybrooK Manor. They are in three rows. The two bedroom houses are about 150m from the three bedroom houses. We try to have groups close to each other, but we absolutely cannot guarantee it.

Is it possible to rent one of your houses in order to party late into the night, or to have a party or a hen night/stag weekend?
No! Absolutely Not! Donnybrook Manor is not at all suitable for such groups. It is a VERY quiet residential area and such bookings are not accepted. Even if you are just a group of a few friends coming for the weekend and your intention is to go out late to the city and then come back to party at the house ... then this is not the place for you. There can be no noise coming from the house after 11pm and before 9am. Your reservation will be terminated immediately if we discover that you have rented the house for this purpose and the damage deposit will not be refunded.

We are a group of 5 students, and we’d like to rent one of your houses for the academic year. Is this possible ?
No, we do not offer student accommodation, or accommodation to students.

We are a group of 5, and we’d like to rent one of your apartments in the city centre. Is this possible ?
It is not possible to accommodate 5 people in our city centre apartments. The apartments are typically for a maximum of 1 or 2 persons. We have two apartments with 2 bedrooms, but the rest are studios or one bedroom apartments.
In order to accommodate more than 2 persons typically we can only offer our town houses in Donnybrook Manor

There are 5 of us in our group and we'd like to have either 5 single beds or 1 double and 3 singles, is this possible ?
Yes, all of our double beds can be separated to make singles. In one of the rooms they will be a bit narrower than normal singles. Let us know about your group at the time of enquiring.

We are a group of 6 or 7, and we’d like to rent one of your town houses. Is this possible?
The largest house that we can offer for a short rental is a three bedroom house. This house sleeps a maximum of 5 persons. We could put in a mattress for the 6th person, but there may be an extra charge for this. It is NOT possible to accommodate 7 persons in a 3 bedroom house - even if there are small children. Maximum is 5 or 6 persons

We are two families, 10 persons in total. We would like to stay in the same house together. Is this possible?
No, this is not possible. In order to accommodate more than 5 persons, you will have to rent two houses. You could choose 2 x 3 bedroom houses or 1 x 2 bedroom house and 1 x 3 bedroom house, or 2 x 2 bedroom houses. We can usually arrange for the two houses to be side by side, or within a few steps of each other, but we cannot guarantee this. All of the short let town houses are in Donnybrook Manor, so there would never be more than a 1 minute walk to any house from any house.

We are two persons and we’d like to rent one of your city centre apartments for 5 days in 4 months time. Is this possible ?
No,there is minimum charge of 4 weeks in our city centre apartments unless you want to occupy the apartment immediately.

Is the house fully equipped ?
Yes. And, the kitchen is fully equipped, if you feel like cooking a meal. Everything is there that you will need for your short stay in Dublin. There's even a washer/dryer in the house. (Washer/dryer in 2Bed and Washer & Dryer in 3 Bed)

Is there internet at the house ?
Yes - we have both wifi and plug-in

Is there a hairdryer in the house ?
Yes - there is a hairdryer in every one of our properties

I'm coming from the US/Canada and I want to bring my own hairdryer and hair straightener - will they work in Ireland ?
No, please don't bring them. They are a fire hazard - they are not wired for our type of electricity and even with a transformer they get too hot and can explode ! Use our hairdryer, and buy a hair straightener when you get here !

Is there an iron and ironing board in the house ?
Yes - there is an iron and ironing board in every one of our properties.

Are there bed linen and towels ?
